NNABA FOUNDATION ANNOUNCES THE 2017 BAR REVIEW SCHOLARSHIP RECIPIENTS

PHOENIX � The National Native American Bar Association (NNABA) Foundation is proud to announce its 2017 Bar Review Scholarship Recipients. The NNABA Foundation received an impressive pool of applications from Native American students representing Indian nations and law schools across the country. The Foundation is proud to support these students in the penultimate step to joining the legal profession: taking the bar exam. Scholarship recipients will receive $1,500 for bar review preparation services.

The scholarship recipients will be honored at NNABA�s Annual Meeting to be held on April 5, 2017, at the Talking Stick Resort and Casino, Scottsdale, Arizona.

The NNABA Foundation extends a special acknowledgement and appreciation to Walmart and NBCUniversal for their generous contribution and to the American Indian Bar Associations for their partnership in supporting our Bar Review Scholarship Program.

Established in 2014, the NNABA Foundation works to foster development of Native American lawyers and addressing social, cultural and legal issues affecting American Indians, Alaska Natives and Native Hawaiians, through the grant of scholarships to law students, the organization of seminars and conferences on topics of interest to the legal profession, and the preparation and distribution of articles and reports on legal issues.
